I can’t eat because of all the hungry maggots and flies
I’m in deep, think they’ll grab me and just drag me away
I can’t sleep because tomorrow is already today

I can’t breathe, I hope someone’s out there praying for me
But who knows? Because I don’t really hold those beliefs
I could see that if someone’s in the sky after all
Hell seems like a long, long Goddamn fall

I can’t see, it’s like someone’s gone and blocked out the sun
And I’m blind to everything and everyone
I can’t wait until someone fills the void inside me
I can’t wait until I’m put out of my misery

I can’t think, it’s like something’s taken over my brain
Now I’m here standing comatose outside in the rain
I’d like to regain a little happiness please
But if not, just move along and let me be

I can’t feel anything except the darkness inside
It’s hard not to succumb to it and lay down and die
I’ve tried everything that I can possibly do
